I have a filling that felt weird. It felt like it moved a little. I can’t be sure and maybe it was just in my imagination. Should I make an appointment or should I blow it off?

You’ve asked a great question. I realize most people are worried about looking foolish or being considered a hypocondriac. Even with those fears, I would never tell you to blow off a dental issue. I know you’re worried that it is in your mind. Let’s say that it is. The worst thing that happens is you have an extra dental appointment. That isn’t so terrible.
If, however, your gut feeling is right, then it is really important you get seen. The sooner the better. Going in early prevents a dental emergency. That is the smartest thing you could do. Eventually, almost all fillings fail. The longer you wait, the more liekly you are to have a serious issue. The earlier you find the problem, the easier it will be to fix.
