I love bleaching my teeth. I had my teeth professionally done and then I use the trays my dentist made for me to bleach them again every few weeks. For some reason lately they are turning grey and chalky. They also seem to have a different texture. What is going on?

I suspect what is going on is you are over bleaching. This is a problem that is becoming more and more common as teeth whitening becomes more popular and accessible. Whitening gels use a peroxide, which is great at oxidizing your teeth in the right doses. However, with overuse they can actually do harm such as causing your gums to recede, or making your teeth brittle and chalky. Your teeth can even take on a grey color.
My suggestion is to give your teeth a breather by not bleaching. I also think you’ll need to build up your enamel. You can use Sensodyne’s Pro Enamel to help with that. You should see some improvement. If you don’t or they get darker, I recommend you go see your dentist. It is possible you’ll need some restorative work done.
